
The West Indies Cricket Heritage Centre, trading under the brand name ‘High Five’ it is a private venture based at the magnificent Spice Basket cultural entertainment complex, St George’s, Grenada, WI. We are dedicated to preserving and bringing to life the uniqe and largely untold story of West Indian cricket history.
Some other Caribbean Islands rightly, pay tribute to their home grown heroes - High Five is the only place in the world were you will find the full story of WI cricket - from Colonial recreation aided by slaves, to world dominance.To the current impass.
High Five boasts a unique collection of Caribbean social history manifesting itself through cricket ephemera and artifacts. Items from the late 1800’s to the present day – caps, medals, stumps, paintings, blazers, books, newspapers, rare unpublished photographs and so on.
We know that cricket has strong links with North America (the Gentlemen of The United States toured the Caribbean in 1877/78) and we will appeal to visitors from the USA and Canada with information on cricket in both countries and the significant part cricket played in the emergence of baseball.
The entrance fee is $10ec adults ($5ec under 16 and seniors) and you would enjoy a guided tour provided by one of our fully trained staff. We are open daily 9am – 5pm.
